By: Renia Corocoto | Back to Collections
This paper demonstrates that the consequences of climate change are heaviest among the poor and have the potential of triggering social conflict and violence. Thus, climate change adaptation measures should be biased to the poor and mindful to another possible cost of climate change which is conflict. The paper ends with a brief discussion on and analysis of the relocation program of the Metro Manila squatters.
